What is Famly?
Famly is a system that allows you to view your child’s Learning Journal online. It is a smartphone app designed to bring you as a parent or carer, closer to your child’s development at Preschool.

At Heart Preschool our staff follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which means that our nursery staff carry out regular observations of every child, ensuring that their learning and development incorporate their interests and needs. These observations are essential for assessing the learning and development of children and enable us to support your child or children in making progress. We also record “WOW” moments like your child’s first words, kindness towards others or even doing something for the first time. We do our upmost to record your child’s experiences at Preschool via this "Famly" app. You can view your child’s photos and videos and comment and like where ever you are. You are also able to contribute to you child's Learning Journal by adding what they have been learning at home.
How can I access the Famly App?
All you need to do is sign a consent form to allow us to provide Famly with your email address and child’s name and date of birth. You will then be sent a link by Famly where you can click and set your own personal log in details’ so you can view at any time what your child is learning during their time in Preschool.
How safe are my details?
The system is secure, and the information contained within this system will only be accessed by you and our Heart Preschool team – under no circumstances will the information, observations or photos be shared with anyone else.
