"Fifteen years ago God gave me the vision to set up a quality Childcare and Early Years provision with a Christian ethos in the local community.  My passion for the lord and love for children has given me the drive to do this.  Along this journey, I have been equipped with the knowledge, skills, and expertise to make this vision come alive along with the massive support from the community, outside agencies, Early Years groups and of course the Church.  It hasn't been an easy road one that's required lots of hard work and prayer and with two children of my own in their Early Years and working as a school teacher times can be quite a challenge. But throughout all the challenges faced God certainly gets the glory in all of this!"

"Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good repute In the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding" Proverbs 3 v 4

Our Learning Environment

Heart Preschool values the importance of learning through play.  Most of our day is child initiated however some parts of our daily routine has structure which is led by an experienced Early Years Practitioner.

The preschool benefits from having a large outdoor space where children can thrive and develop. Children can access the outdoor play area everyday.  We try to allow children to be outside all day if possible.

We believe that there is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing. We encourage outdoor play and make it a necessity.

Some children learn better outdoors, so as skilled early years practitioners we create an environment that is "fit for purpose" where children's interests are captured, minds are stimulated and children are playfully engaged , promoting learning and development.

We were inspected on 20th September 2021 by OFSTED and received a glowing report and was rated GOOD!!  Please click our team photo below to view our report.
